Now, I imagine, if I encountered any of them in person I would probably do a girlie scream that would make me lose major feminist cred and faint dead away. Yet I still would LOVE to visit Australia in person some day and test that theory.

Are jumping spiders non-poisonous in Australia? We have them here and I’m rather fond of them, actually. I had one on my desk near the computer for a long time. My ex-MIL, who was from Korea, said they were good luck and they ate the harmful bugs that would kill her plants.

We have a tarantula, too.
